Delivered from the Construction Skills Hub which is based in the centre of a live construction site, this course is designed to equip students with a comprehensive range of skills across multiple trades within the construction industry. This course is perfect for anyone who wants to enhance their skills in construction

Course Objectives

  • Engagement in further education
  • Introduction to basic construction skills
  • Health & safety awareness on a construction site
  • Prepare for progression into further learning

Course Structure

By attending and completing the programme students will achieve a Level 2 Certificate in Multi-Skills Construction, covering the following subjects.

  • Health and safety and a CSCS Card
  • Carpentry and Joinery
  • Painting and decorating
  • Plumbing
  • Tiling

Entry Requirements

Willingness to comply with strict health and safety rules. There is no minimum age for this programme.

Assessment methods

Practical with some written tasks.
